CENTRE FOR INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies was established in 2001 with the aim to become a platform for artistic and theoretical concepts outside the realm of certain standard artistic and scientific disciplines. New artistic and theoretical practices are studied, connecting studies of artistic fields at certain faculties of art. Since its foundation, the Centre has developed rapidly, raising the quality of postgraduate studies and representing an academic challenge for an increasing number of domestic and foreign students. Interdisciplinary studies represent a significant developmental activity of the University of Arts, which strengthens the ties between the University and its faculties, promoting cooperation of professors from art faculties, as well as experts from different areas.
