In.Tune Meeting “Leadership in the Alliance”

The meeting Leadership in the Alliance that brought together leaders from six prestigious European universities and faculties was held on the University of Arts in Belgrade on September 18, 2024. These six higher education institutions, along with the University of Arts in Belgrade and the Faculty of Music, participate in the activities of the European University Alliance In.Tune.

Rector Mirjana Nikolić welcomed the following colleagues: Astrid Kvalbein, rector of the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo (NMH); Dijana Moș, rector of the National University of Music in Bucharest (UNMB); Émilie Delorme, director of the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris (CNSMDP); Emilie Gardberg, dean of the Sibelius Academy at the University of the Arts in Helsinki (SibA-Uniarts); Núria Sempere Comas, director of the Catalan Music Conservatory in Barcelona (ESMUC); and Lies Colman, director of the Royal Conservatoire of the University of the Arts in The Hague (KC-HdK).

The program included a presentation of the University of Arts, followed by a working session where the leaders discussed their role in strengthening cooperation within the Alliance, the challenges and potential risks they might face, as well as new opportunities that this collaboration could offer to faculties and universities in the next years.

The meeting of the leaders was organized alongside a two-day meeting of Working Group 8 of the In.Tune alliance, which is responsible for dissemination and communication, and is coordinated at the alliance level by the Faculty of Music of the University of arts in Belgrade.
