Erasmus+ Mobility for Training at:
University of Arts in Belgrade, Rectorate
In the period from 30.05. – 05.06. I had the opportunity to stay in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia) at the University of Arts, as the coordinator of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka for the Erasmus + program. My visit was realized within the Erasmus + activity – Training Mobility and I had the pleasure and honor to cooperate with dear colleagues from the Office for International Cooperation of the University of Arts in Belgrade, Mrs. Jasmina Milovanović and Mr. Sava Popović. The schedule of the visit was filled with meetings with acting Rector of the University of Arts in Belgrade, Prof Mirjana Nikolić, Ph.D, acting Vice-rector Prof. Biljana Radovanović Brkanović and with representatives of the Office for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Music, University of Belgrade, Ms. Ivana Mijanovic, Coordinator for International Cooperation, Dragana Jovanovic, Head of the Center for International Cooperation and Mr. Rastko Popovic, Coordinator within the Office for International Cooperation.
I conducted all these meetings in a working and constructive atmosphere. Since there was no language barrier, and because our syllabus programs were very similar, we all had constructive topics to talk about. In order to continue, deepen and improve the cooperation between the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka and fill the current „silence“ in joint music projects of cooperation, we came up with the idea of sign a protocol on cooperation between our two institutions, so our students can perform at various events in Belgrade and Banja Luka in joint music ensembles.
These talks and agreements were extremely useful for me personally and professionally and I believe that through contacts with colleagues from Belgrade, I have significantly improved my perspectives as a coordinator for international cooperation.
For me, Belgrade is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I enjoyed my stay in the beautiful capital of Serbia, feeling right at home.
