Erasmus+ Mobility for Training at:
University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Fine Arts
Mobility was realised in period 13-17 June 2022. at The University of Arts – Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
I had two meetings with Head of the International Relations Office of UAB, Ms Jasmina Milovanović and Erasmus + Mobility Coordinator of UAB, Ms Anđela Russo (check in and check out days), where we discussed the significance of the established mobility between the two Universities and our mutual interest in further affirmation through better visibility, support and encouragement of staff, both academic and administrative, as well as students to apply. On the first day a meeting was held with Vice-Dean for International Relations prof.dr. Jelena Todorović, Vice-Dean Elect for International Relations prof. Svetlana Volić and Erasmus + Mobility Coordinator of FLU ass. prof. Stefan Tasić. Topics discussed were strengthening of institutional connections and mutual cooperation in various aspects of the development of teaching, research, artistic and exhibition activities and the expansion of personal and professional networks. During the following three days, I visited Final exhibition of students works at each department of FLU, the Graphic Department with professor Vladimir Milanović and ass. professor Nikola Velicki, the Sculpture Department with professor Radoš Antonijević, professor Olivera Parlić Karajanković and assistant Dunja Trutin, as well as the Painting Department and the New Media Department. That was the best opportunity to compare the curricula, exchange good practices and experiences, and to talk about the status, specificity and further development of fine art disciplines in contemporary society. For me, it was also a beneficiary opportunity for immediate insight in organization and the curricula of the third cycle of study, doctoral program in art, at the FLU, due to a need of its establishment at ALU. On the last day, I had a final meeting with the Dean of the FLU, prof. Dimitrije Pecić, Vice-Dean for International Relations prof.dr. Jelena Todorović, Vice-Dean Elect for International Relations prof. Svetlana Volić and Head of the International Relations Office of UAB, Ms Jasmina Milovanovic, where activities and impressions during mobility were summarized and the mutual interest in further strengthening and developing of cooperation were confirmed.
In addition, I visited several exhibitions in galleries and museums in Belgrade.
Saša Marjanović, Svet/World, Gallery ULUS, 08.-20.06.2022.
Vladimir Milanović, Carbon Copy, Gallery ZRAK
Erwin Wurm, One Minute Forever, Museum of Contemporary Art, 07.04.-09.08.2022.

Overall, it was a really successful and satisfying mobility that will, I am confident, result in better understanding and increased interest in the mobility program, joint institutional programs and strengthening of personal and professional contacts and cooperation. Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my colleagues and staff at UAB and FLU for their hospitality and cordiality that enabled an inspiring time for me during my mobility.
