Erasmus+ Mobility for Teaching at:
University of Arts in Belgrade, Faculty of Music
As the Erasmus+ project teaching staff participant, I had a wonderful opportunity to stay and teach in Belgrade at the Faculty of Music University of Arts. In the week from December 13th to December 17th, 2021 I was working with students of my dear colleagues, professors classes from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade: MMUS Gordana Matijević Nedeljković – Head of Violin Department Council/Professor, DMA Madlen Stokić Vasiljević – Associate Violin professor and DMA Marija Misita – Associate Violin professor.
Being in Belgrade, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, the teaching and meeting schedule was filled with lectures and meetings with Faculty Professors of the University of Arts in Belgrade. We had a mutual exchange of professional and artistic opinions within certain topics of the Violin teaching field during these meetings and lectures. The Belgrade students under the exquisite care of their professors are very skilled, with excellent technical and music preparation. It was a true pleasure for me to teach them.
My visit was realized within the Erasmus+ activity – Teaching mobility, but I also had the pleasure to meet and cooperate with dear colleagues from the Office for International Cooperation Faculty of Music in Belgrade: Ivana Mijanović – International relations coordinator, Milica Subotić – International relations coordinator and Dušanka Jelenković Vidović – International relations coordinator. We discussed new possibilities for cooperation and future mutual projects. I also had an opportunity to meet with the Head of the Office for International Cooperation University of Arts in Belgrade, Mrs. Jasmina Milovanović. I conducted all these meetings and lectures in a working and effective atmosphere.
Since our syllabus programs are very similar, we all had constructive topics to discuss regarding continuing, deepening and improving the cooperation between the String departments Faculty of Music in Belgrade and the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka. Besides greatly enjoying my stay in the capital of Serbia, these lectures and meetings were extremely important to me personally and I belive that through these activities with colleagues from Belgrade, I have significantly developed and improved my perspective as an active and successful Violin professor.
